Day 10. Closing and farewell ceremony at the school

November 30th, 2015 7:30am. Tuesday Morning worship but this time in Miss Taylor and Miss L's room.

Paul had been eyeing off the driver's seat all week. He  finally got that wish and drove it down the driveway.

3/4 of the way to the school the road was blocked by these two tip trucks. One had to push the other down the hill to jump start it and eventually after 5 minutes the road was free again.

ANTi-VIOLENCE DRAWING COMPETITION.

There was no winner as everyone that participated ended up being a "winner...and loser".

Dancers performed for us and we returned the gesture by performing the Heritage College Chant.

Each DRA volunteer was presented with a certificate of appreciation for efforts put into the 2015 project.

A small gift from the school community was given to the male volunteers.

We donated various sporting items to the school.

Our gift to the School Principal of a Heritage College Sun Hat.

The professional painter was also presented with a jacket as an appreciation of his efforts during the past week.

We were treated to one last traditional dance by the students to end the farewell celebrations.

The dancing concluded the formal part of the day. Then we were treated with to light lunch in the new classroom.

THE BUS RIDE BACK TO KATHMANDU WAS A LONG AND CONGESTED ONE.

Dinner was back at Manang Hotel, the place in Kathmandu where we spent our st nights. Here we will also spend our last couple of days before heading back home. 

Our final day Tuesday Dec 1st will be uploaded and posted as we commute between Nepal, Bangkok and Melbourne. Thanks Mark
