Is photography 100% technique or is it an artform? Considering the manipulation that Lightroom and Photoshop can provide, dependant on how much time and effort you wish to put into each image. The end result can be taken to within a whisker of the original images life. You decide, is it purist or art????

The final is taken into Photoshop CS6 where the subject is added to a layer of texture in a banner-sized final spread.
The green colour is also added as another layer with highlights added at torso height across the breadth of the banner.
A 2 light setup in the studio with a black backdrop to catch highlights and to lighten the guitar.
